Twenty-Five & A World Reversed
I am 25 today. A quarter of a century old. That strange liminal space where you are neither old nor young, just standing in the middle of something—of becoming, of having been. The past few years have felt like a lesson in inversion. The world shifting beneath me, light turning to dark and dark to light, learning to see again.
So, maybe it makes sense that my first digital painting began as a negative. An image reversed, its tones flipped. Instead of correcting it, I chose to paint from it. To let the inversion stay. To find something new within it.
This piece—Arist, Adorned—is that process in form. A study in perception, in allowing things to emerge as they are, rather than as we expect them to be. And today, on my 25th birthday, it is also my first-ever limited edition print release.
Fifty signed & numbered prints, each one accompanied by a handwritten note and fresh herbs—because art should be something you experience, not just something you see. $25 for my 25th. Once they’re gone, they’re gone forever.
I am stepping into this next year with intention, with curiosity, with creation. With the knowledge that sometimes, the most beautiful things come from a world reversed.
If this piece speaks to you, I hope you’ll share in it with me. And if nothing else, I hope you’ll celebrate this moment with me—the first of many.
